And, soon enough, the animals you never expected to find in the middle of the city.
That’s our kind of wildlife.
OUR STORY
How we started
Fauna Jam started with a feeling: living in a city while constantly craving a little more nature.
We were born and raised in places where nature was simply part of everyday life, from tropical Costa Rica, with its green mountains, birds, squirrels and fearless raccoons, to Chile and its own very different landscapes and wildlife.
Then we coincided in Barcelona and built a friendship around a mutual passion for animals and illustration.
We love this city, the food, the people, the art, the culture, but somewhere along the way, we realised how much we missed that everyday connection with nature.
So we started looking for it wherever we could.
Cycling up Tibidabo and through Collserola on weekends.
Scrolling through Reddit and wikiloc looking for new trails.
Finding excuses to get outside.
Things we hadn't really thought about before slowly became part of our lives.
Somehow, that feeling found its way into the thing we've always loved doing most: illustration and design.
And Fauna Jam grew from there.
DESIGN
Every character starts as a hand-drawn sketch in our Barcelona studio, long before it meets a screen.
MATERIALS
Our T-shirts are made from 100% certified organic GOTS cotton.
PRODUCTION
Printed using screen printing in a Fair Wear-certified workshop, in small batches.
SHIPPING
Packed and shipped from Barcelona across Spain and the EU.
Launching Fauna Jam has been humbling. Ads don't always work. Instagram sometimes does. Community matters more than traffic. And building something thoughtfully takes a lot longer than you think. We're still learning. Still adjusting. Still figuring out which animals deserve to join the crew.
But we're happy it's finally out in the world.
